Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I KNOW OF UPCOMING CLASSES AND EVENTS?

WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR THE COURSES?

Class prices range from $60 to $200.  Several factors are taken into consideration;  the certification(s) needed, and is it a new or renewal course.  We recommend you call us at 239-633-9089 so we can quote you an accurate fee.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY COURSE COMPLETION CARD FROM THE AHA?

American Heart Association no longer issues a physical card.  Students now receive eCards.  Upon completion of courses students will receive an email with a link that will direct them to claim their eCard(s).

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A HARD-COPY PROOF-OF-TRAINING?

Yes.  Once you claim your eCard, you will have the option to print it.  Flexible eCard formats allow you to print a full or wallet-sized physical copy of their card, making it easy to show proof they have successfully completed training requirements.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RENEW MY COURSE COMPLETION CARD?

Course completion cards are valid for two years through the end of the month during which the course completion card was issued.

IF I AM AN AHA INSTRUCTOR, DO I NEED TO KEEP MY PROVIDER CARD CURRENT?

The AHA does not require an Instructor to have a valid provider card. However, policy from different agencies or regulatory bodies may make this a requirement.
